Math is directly related to geometric shapes. In this lesson students discover how a simple three sided shape can be transformed into a great design. Students use a ruler to draw a series of lines from one number to any other number. They must be consistent in whatever is drawn in one quadrant must equal all four quadrants. They then discover patterns using color and gradients.

This lesson follows the same principles of application as the Balance of Design and the weaving lessons.
