I have been teaching art now for 22 years from grades 7-12. I started out teaching only inner city at-risk students. I had never taught a day in my life, in fact I did not even have a teaching certificate! I was granted the job because no one else wanted to conquer the position. Later on I obtained my certification. I did not think I would last but 6 weeks. I ended up staying 7 years before going onto three other teaching positions, all of which were other at-risk schools.

I have created this website and blog so that other new teachers and veteran teachers could obtain lessons that work because they have been tried for over 20 years. Lessons on all the Great Masters like Vincent Van Gogh, Vermeer, Rembrandt, Monet, and 50 other famous artists. Creative art sheets that allow students to recreate a masterpiece from a master. Lessons that are different from the predictable art lessons in that they deal with math, the golden mean, artists studios, techniques of drawing, lessons for Special Needs students and much more.
